The Ship / Armada
Broadmead

Near the corner with Old King Street, now the corner of the Hub diagonally opposite Dixons. The Armada, previously the Ship was pulled down during the 1950’s re-development of the area. The premises next door were occupied by Henry Jones the flour millers who were the inventors of self raising flour.
